Quick answer: Exclusive Paint Protection applies XPEL FUSION PLUS ceramic coating to the Rivian R1T, R1S and R2 at our Charlotte and Huntersville studios. The 4-year full-body coating is $1,500 and goes over paint or over XPEL PPF. Add wheel faces for $300 (2-year) and exterior plastic trim for $400 (1-year). What Ceramic Coating Does for a Rivian (and What It Doesn’t)

Rivians get dirty in ways a commuter sedan does not: trail dust, pollen off the lake, bug splatter from I-77, and mud packed into the wheel arches. A ceramic coating bonds to the paint and makes all of that easier to rinse off, keeps water beading instead of spotting, and holds gloss through Carolina sun.

Exclusive Paint Protection participates as a select installer in the XPEL Rivian program at both our Charlotte and Huntersville studios, with regular hands-on time with R1T, R1S and R2 paint.

Our Coating Process

1. Wash and decontaminate: iron remover, clay and a panel wipe
2. Inspect: delivery marks and swirls; correction recommended only if it is worth it
3. Apply XPEL FUSION PLUS: panel by panel in a controlled environment
4. Cure: we keep the vehicle until the coating is ready to meet water
5. Aftercare: simple wash guidance, and an optional annual inspection to keep the coating performing
